The EK-M.2 NVMe Heatsinks are a passive cooling solution for M.2 NVMe SSDs. If these SSDs get a little hotter, this can quickly have a negative effect on speed and performance. To prevent this problem, the M.2 NVMe SSDs can be equipped with passive heat sinks. The better the air cooling in the case, the better the SSD can be cooled.
