High-performance 8-core 10GbE NAS for hybrid infrastructure storage and high-speed virtualisation applications. The high-performance TS-855X has six 3.5-inch SATA drive bays (for HDDs), two 2.5-inch SATA drive bays (for SSDs) and an 8-core processor supporting Intel QuickAssist Technology (QAT), significantly helping businesses deploy storage and data virtualisation environments. Built-in high-speed 10GbE/2.5GbE connectivity helps realise fast data access, backup/restore, file server and virtualisation applications. The TS-855X, which comes standard with the QTS operating system, can be switched to use the ZFS-based QuTS hero operating system depending on user requirements. The TS-855X will be available and supported by QNAP for an extended period of time (until 2027), ideal for businesses requiring the deployment of matched NAS models in long-term projects.
