The DGS-1100 graphical user interface allows you to easily manage Layer 2 features such as VLANs, Spanning Tree Protocol (STP), and link aggregation (static). D-Link's free Network Assistant (DNA) system provides information about all connected devices and speeds up the first setup. The free D-View 7 network management system comes with a license for 25 nodes and 2 probes and full access to management tools. Optional license upgrade allows you to expand your network and analysis capabilities.

Troubleshooting made easy

With loop detection and cable diagnostics, the DGS-1100 family of switches effectively supports administrators in solving network problems. Loop detection detects a loop on a port and closes it automatically.

Cable connection diagnostics allows you to test the quality of copper cables, recognize the type of cables and detect errors.
