For a tight connection to an expansion tank or to protect the hose/cable when drilling through sheet metal (e.g. the housing wall). Can simply be pushed through a hole and screwed with the nut, or screwed directly into an M12 thread. The tightness is guaranteed by a Perbunan sealing sleeve in the feedthrough.
