Aquacomputer airplex modularity system 360 mm, aluminum fins, D5 NEXT pump,...
The compact airplex modularity system with D5 NEXT pump is a modular radiator system with extremely high cooling capacity, based on Aqua Computer's many years of experience.
The radiator has 21 copper pipes and stainless steel flanges pressed on ex works. Furthermore, it has delrin terminals on both sides, which are sealed with a sealing ring against the stainless steel flanges and are also screwed to them. The connection threads are recessed in the delrin terminals.
With the pocket above the thread, a connection adapter can be fitted to connect two airplex modularity radiators without the need for hose connections. The orientation of the radiators determines the flow of the coolant. If they are located laterally to each other, they are connected in series. If the radiators are stacked, the flow is parallel to each other.
The different versions of the series are almost identical, the only differences are the side parts and the lamella packages. In addition, there are no solder residues (as there are no soldered joints) and the airplex modularity system can be completely dismantled and therefore allows extensive cleaning.
A special feature of the airplex modularity system is the possibility of operating two separate cooling circuits. The cooling surface is allocated to the primary or secondary circuit in a ratio of approximately 70 to 30. Thanks to the complete sealing of the two circuits, mixing of the coolant flowing through is impossible.
Thanks to the D5 NEXT pump and the expansion tank, which is directly integrated into the delrinter terminal, the implementation of an extremely compact and above all easy-to-install water cooling system is no problem. Thanks to the D5 NEXT pump, it is also possible to access the water temperature measurement or the flow sensor, for example.
