IP dome camera DS-2CD1143G2-I (2.8mm) IR up to 30 m, outdoor IP67, IK10

The HIKVISION DS-2CD1143G2-I (2.8mm) IP camera is a camera from the economic series with a good price-quality ratio. It is a dome camera that can be mounted on both walls and ceilings. Thanks to the IP67 tightness class, it can be mounted outdoors without fear of flooding the equipment. The camera can be powered using a regular 12V power supply or PoE technology, which greatly simplifies the installation by using only one twisted-pair cable.

The camera is equipped with a 2.8 mm fixed focal length lens. Thanks to it, we will obtain a wide viewing angle of 99°, which will allow us to observe general scenes.

The sensor used to build the camera is a 1/3" progressive scan CMOS. It allows you to obtain a very good and sharp image in 4 MP resolution. The obtained image quality is sufficient for use in basic monitoring systems.

The PoE Power over Ethernet camera function allows you to use one UTP cable to transmit data and power needed to run the camera. The undoubted advantage of this solution is the shortening of the time needed to install monitoring and the reduction of costs to the necessary minimum. To sum up, PoE technology used in CCTV systems allows you to save time and money needed for its implementation. Just connect the camera to the switch and the switch will detect it and power it.

The IP tightness class tells the user to what extent the camera is protected against the ingress of solid objects (range from 0 to 6) and water and moisture (range from 0 to 9). The IK vandal resistance class tells the user to what extent the camera is protected against impacts (range from 01 to 10).
