Converter designed especially for computers that do not have a serial port, for example: new notebook models. It is compatible with RS-232 but does not work with devices whose software:
• requires the determination of the number interrupt (IRQ)
• refers directly to the controller COM port (UART).
Note! The device creates a serial port RS-232 from USB port (not the other way around).
The converter works under Microsoft Windows 98, ME, 2000, XP, Server2003 (32 & 64-bit), Vista (32 & 64-bit), 7 (32 & 64-bit), Server2008 (32 & 64-bit) and Linux 2.4+.
