This model is equipped with an EPO (Emergency Power Off) module for emergency shutdown of the UPS in the event of a fire hazard. The device enables remote reception of a signal triggering blockage in the transfer of power to the connected electrical equipment installation. Using the Emergency Power Off module increases the operability of the system, separates the installation and guarantees the safety of users in emergency situations.

How does an on-line UPS work?


An on-line UPS continuously processes voltage, and in the event of an unexpected drop in network voltage, the power supply sustains the operation of the connected device through built-in batteries, which are constantly recharged. Therefore, power from the network is only required for recharging the batteries. Devices permanently connected to the UPS will always receive clean, disturbance-free power drawn from the batteries, which is why the output voltage of the on-line UPS will always remain constant, regardless of the input voltage. The runtime of the devices is several to several dozen minutes, providing enough time to save data and safely shut down the equipment.
