Versatile features and flexible power supply: With the Spot 400, outdoor adventurers are well equipped even on longer expeditions. This headlamp can be operated with the batteries included in the package or via a rechargeable battery (sold separately). It delivers an output of up to 400 lumens: in addition to a spot beam and floodlight, it offers a dimming function, a strobe mode, and a night vision mode (red LED). Black Diamond’s PowerTap technology enables a quick and easy switch between full and dimmed output. The memory mode stores the brightness setting for the next time you turn it on, and a digital lockout mode prevents it from being switched on accidentally in a bag or backpack. The Spot 400 is IPX8 waterproof and has been tested for operation up to 1.1 meters and 30 minutes under water.
