Google TV Streamer (4K) brings you entertainment from popular streaming services, including live TV, movies, and music. Find personal recommendations based on your subscriptions, viewing history, and content that you own, all in one place. You can watch your favorite movies and shows in 4K with Dolby Vision for cinematic, true-to-life pictures, and Dolby Atmos for immersive sound.

You can use the redesigned remote to search across all your favorite apps using just your voice, or if you ever lose it, you can make it ring with the press of a button on the streamer or by asking Google.

Google TV Streamer also has a built-in Thread border router and is a hub for Matter and Google Home allowing for seamless setup and control of smart home devices.

The Google TV Streamer works with any TV or display that has an HDMI connection, even if the TV has a different resolution than the streaming device, but we recommend a 4K TV for the best experience.

For optimal performance, you’ll need an “Ultra High Speed” HDMI 2.1 certified cable (sold separately). This is necessary to connect your Google TV Streamer to your TV, A/V receiver, or soundbar.

Notes:

• To experience high-quality audio, ensure your TV and any connected audio equipment (A/V receiver or soundbar) supports HDMI 2.1. If the Google TV Streamer is directly plugged into the TV, make sure your audio system is connected to the TV's e-ARC HDMI port using a HDMI 2.1 cable.
• You can watch video only at a resolution that both your TV and Google TV Streamer are capable of. For example, if you use Google TV Streamer with a 1080p display device, you can watch video up to 1080p, but you won’t get video in 4K. Video resolution also depends on the content you’re streaming.
