Descaling liquid De’Longhi EcoDecalk 500 ml DLSC500
Limescale is the most common cause of coffee machine malfunctions, so it is very important to descale in time! The new effective De’Longhi „EcoDecalk“ descaling liquid removes limescale that forms in the coffee machine’s water system. Laboratory trials and tests have shown that this descaling liquid is three times more effective than conventional descaling agents. Take care of your coffee machine and it will always prepare delicious coffee for you.
How to use the care product?
500 ml of the care product is enough for five uses. For one use, dilute 100 ml of liquid with 400 ml of water.
– If you have a fully automatic coffee machine (with grinder), select the descaling program and press the button (follow the user manual for the specific model). If you have a semi-automatic coffee machine, remove the portafilter and place an empty container underneath it.
– Let the entire water and liquid solution run through the coffee machine in four stages, every five minutes.
– Then repeat this with clean water. Finally, clean the water tank thoroughly.
How often should the care product be used?
This depends largely on the hardness of your water: the harder the water, the more often the coffee machine needs to be descaled (fully automatic coffee machines have the option to save the water hardness setting – this way the coffee machine will notify you when it is necessary to use the descaling program).
