Thermal Grizzly WireView Pro II GPU monitoring device white

The WireView Pro II was specifically developed for demanding use with modern high-end graphics cards with a 12V-2x6 connector and represents the enhanced version of the WireView Pro. As a patented development by Thermal Grizzly, it is protected by European patent EP4250057. The current is not only recorded as a total value, but for each individual wire of the 12V-2x6 connector. This allows potential contact problems between the cable and graphics card to be identified immediately. The WireView Pro II was specifically designed to enable precise monitoring of the 12V-2x6 connector, allowing load distribution issues to be detected at an early stage and helping to prevent possible damage to the graphics card and the 12V-2x6 connector.
Monitoring
All safety-relevant parameters such as currents (A), voltages (V), temperatures (°C), and power consumption (W) are measured continuously. Thermal Grizzly defines threshold values for this that should not be exceeded during normal operation, as otherwise there is an increased risk of thermal damage to the connector. If a threshold is exceeded, a visual warning appears on the display along with an acoustic alarm. An automatic system shutdown via the included splitter cable is optionally possible. The preset threshold values can be changed via the configuration menu.
Cooling
Due to unavoidable contact resistance at plug connections, additional waste heat is generated during the operation of high-performance GPUs. For controlled heat dissipation, a semi-passive fan has been integrated that operates silently at idle and is activated automatically as power consumption or temperature increases. The CNC-milled aluminum housing features ventilation openings and serves as an active heat sink. Optimized airflow through openings in the rear PCB supports airflow along all heat-relevant components.
User-friendliness
The WireView Pro II is available in two connector orientations and can therefore be used with almost any graphics card with a 12V-2x6 connection. The downward-facing connector orientation allows for clean cable routing, and the device therefore also acts as a 90° adapter at the same time. Several views are available on the integrated TFT IPS display and can be configured directly on the device. The device can be used entirely as a hardware solution and is additionally complemented by software (WireView2-SW-1.0.3). This is available in the product's download section.
Automatic data logging
An integrated memory regularly logs relevant operating data to ensure traceability of possible error events. Recorded data includes the 12-volt currents measured per pin, total power consumption, and the temperature at the 12V-2x6 output (T-Out) near the connector. A data record is saved every 60 seconds. The memory allows for approximately 340 days of full load or around 3-4 years of typical operation before older entries are automatically overwritten. The collected data supports both error analysis and the further development of safer plug connections within the community.
