Kolink expands its case series with a compact, slim, and extremely high-performance case that is especially suitable for use in schools but also in offices: the Micro-ATX Mini Case KLM-002. The flexibility of this case is particularly striking: it can be positioned horizontally or, with the included stand, vertically depending on space requirements. Inside, up to three 2.5-inch drives can be installed. A pre-installed 80 mm fan provides sufficient cooling.

Kolink KLM-002: The compact case for schools and offices
With a height or width of only 9.5 centimeters, the Kolink KLM-002 is extremely compact and, depending on space requirements, can be positioned either horizontally or, with the included stand, vertically. This makes the KLM-002 especially suitable for use in spaces with numerous workstations, such as schools or open-plan offices. Despite its compact dimensions, the KLM-002 can accommodate a lot of hardware.
The case supports motherboards with a Micro-ATX or Mini-ITX form factor. Due to the height of 9.5 centimeters, there is hardly any room for a graphics card; the case is mainly designed for processors with an integrated graphics unit. Alternatively, a low-profile GPU with a maximum length of around 150 millimeters can be installed.
Note: Only particularly compact Micro-ATX motherboards with a maximum of three expansion slots and dimensions of 22.6 cm x 18.0 cm can be installed!
Plenty of space for drives, designed for space-saving SFX power supply
Vents on the back, sides, and top ensure sufficient airflow, which is enhanced by the already pre-installed 80 mm fan. Inside, there is room for a total of three 2.5-inch drives, or alternatively, one 3.5-inch and one 2.5-inch drive. On the side, a space-saving SFX power supply (NEKL-004, NEKL-005, NEKL-006) can be installed, which faces downward when the case stands upright. In this setup, an angled C13 (cold appliance) connector (NEDE-027) should be used, with the cable routed through the stand to the back.
Despite its functional design, the appearance of the KLM-002 does not disappoint. The front panel features a brushed aluminum look. Here you’ll also find the I/O panel, equipped with one USB 3.0 port and two USB 2.0 ports. There are also two 3.5 mm jacks for headphones and a microphone. The power switch is slightly to the side on the angled edge of the front cover.
