The be quiet! Light Base 500 LX midi-tower offers the perfect balance between size and functionality. With plenty of room for powerful hardware and efficient cooling, it is the ideal choice for gaming and workstation builds.
Comprehensive cooling options with fans and radiators
To keep your hardware cool under any load, the be quiet! Light Base 500 accommodates up to ten fans at the same time. The top supports three 120 mm or two 140 mm fans. On the side, up to three 120 mm fans can be installed, while the bottom allows for three 120 mm fans. A 120 mm or 140 mm fan can also be mounted at the rear.
The case comes factory-equipped with four 120 mm fans - three Pure Wings 3 Reverse on the side and one Pure Wings 3 at the rear.
An AiO water cooling system can also be easily installed if you prefer to cool your high-performance hardware with water cooling. There is room for a radiator up to 360 mm on the top, up to 240 mm on the side, and up to 120 mm at the rear.
Installing your hardware
The case provides ample space for high-performance gaming hardware. It supports graphics cards up to 400 mm in length. Motherboards up to ATX size are supported. You can also install motherboards with back-connect design—if you choose this option, you should replace the power supply and a drive bracket to use all drives. The CPU cooler should not exceed a height of 185 mm. To store programs and games, a total of three drives can be installed.
