The Montech XR Midi-Tower in detail
The XR from Montech is a midi-tower featuring an elegant front I/O and a design reminiscent of wood grain. It is also optimized for airflow and comes pre-installed with three powerful ARGB PWM fans. This provides an excellent foundation for any gaming PC with a focus on cooling performance. The chassis is made from a sturdy steel construction, while the side panel and front are crafted from tempered glass. The top, PSU shroud side, and rear side panel are fitted with fine mesh for maximum airflow, benefiting the cooling of your components.
Montech XR: Elegant, compact, and robust
Both air-cooling advocates and water-cooling enthusiasts will appreciate this case: The Montech XR allows for the installation of up to nine fans. Instead of the front, two powerful 120 mm fans are pre-installed on the side. Up to three 120 mm fans can be mounted on the lower PSU shroud. Another 120 mm fan is pre-installed at the rear. All three Montech fans can be controlled via PWM signal and feature ARGB lighting. The top panel supports three 120 mm or two 140 mm fans for additional cooling. The maximum CPU cooler height is limited to 175 mm.
Plenty of room for radiators
Montech has also considered fans of AiOs and custom water cooling. Up to 240 mm radiators can be mounted on the side. The top panel accommodates a radiator up to 360 mm. With large mesh surfaces, ample air can flow into and out of the case. Additional dust filters on the side and base keep your cooling efficient and make fan cleaning easy—they can be easily removed, cleaned, and reinstalled.
Space for drives and a well-equipped I/O panel
The spacious interior offers plenty of room for high-performance hardware, such as ATX motherboards and powerful gaming graphics cards up to 420 mm long. With an optional Montech PCI bracket, the graphics card can also be installed vertically. Two 2.5-inch SSDs can be mounted on the back of the motherboard tray in dedicated brackets.
Under the PSU shroud of the Montech XR is a drive cage for two 3.5-inch hard drives. Behind it, an ATX power supply up to 230 mm in length can be installed. The I/O panel of the Montech XR offers two USB 3.0 Type-A ports, one USB-C port, one 3.5 mm audio jack for headphones, a 3.5 mm jack for a microphone, and a reset button.
