The Montech XR Midi-Tower in detail
The XR from Montech is a midi-tower with a very elegant front I/O along with a design that resembles wood grain. It is also optimized for airflow and comes with a total of three integrated, powerful ARGB PWM fans from the factory. This sets the foundation for any gaming computer that focuses on cooling performance. The case is made of a sturdy steel construction, with a side panel and front made of tempered glass. The top, the side of the power supply chamber, and the rear side panel are equipped with a fine mesh. The high air permeability benefits the cooling of your components.
Montech XR: Elegant, compact, and robust
Both air cooling advocates and water cooling enthusiasts will get their money's worth with this case: The Montech XR offers the possibility to install a total of nine fans. Instead of the front, two strong 120mm fans are pre-installed on the side. Three 120mm fans can be installed on the lower power supply cover. A 120mm fan is also pre-installed on the rear. All three Montech fans can be controlled via a PWM signal and feature ARGB lighting. Three 120mm or two 140mm fans can be retrofitted on the top. The height of the CPU cooler is limited to a maximum of 175mm.
Plenty of space for radiators
Montech has also catered for fans of AiOs or custom water cooling. Up to 240mm radiators can be mounted on the side. The top has space for a radiator up to 360mm. Thanks to the generous mesh areas, a lot of air can flow in and out of the case. To ensure the effectiveness of your cooling and to make the cleaning of your fans easier, additional dust filters are installed on the side and the bottom. You can easily remove, clean, and reinsert them.
Space for drives and a well-equipped I/O panel
The interior offers a lot of space for powerful hardware, for example, for ATX motherboards and high-performance gaming graphics cards up to 420mm in length. With the optional PCI bracket from Montech, the graphics card can also be installed vertically. Two 2.5-inch SSDs can be mounted on the rear of the motherboard tray.
Under the power supply cover of the Montech XR, there is a drive cage for two 3.5-inch hard drives. Behind the cage, there is space for an ATX power supply up to 230mm in length. The I/O panel of the SKY TWO offers two USB 3.0 Type-A ports, a USB-C port, a 3.5mm headphone and microphone jack, and a reset button.
