With the Phanteks NV5 MK2, you make no compromises on cooling and showcasing your hardware. The left side panel and seamlessly integrated front are made of tempered glass, offering an excellent panoramic view of your components. The top and right side panels feature fine mesh to ensure optimal airflow.
The subtle DRGB lighting further enhances the look of the case and highlights your hardware.
Optimal airflow for your components
When developing the NV series, and especially the NV5 MK2, Phanteks focused from the beginning on cooling performance. The case features an open design to facilitate unobstructed airflow. The top and right side panels, made from mesh, allow for great air exchange. The base of the case is angled and provides up to 34 mm of clearance from the surface, allowing plenty of space to draw fresh air into your case.
Many mounting options for better cooling
The Phanteks NV5 MK2 offers numerous options for installing fans to optimally cool your hardware. There is space for up to eight 120-mm fans: three on the top, three on the side, one at the rear, and one at the bottom.
Additionally, the case supports installation of up to two 360-mm radiators, one on the top and one on the side. A further 120-mm radiator can be installed at the rear.
Plenty of space for your gaming hardware
If you want to use a large motherboard to get the most out of your system, the NV5 MK2 is the ideal choice. For maximum compatibility, you can easily fit E-ATX motherboards. You can also install graphics cards up to 440 mm in length and 170 mm in width, as well as CPU coolers up to 180 mm in height. The case is designed wider to better accommodate modern, wider GPUs and 12VHPWR cables. For additional stability, a GPU support bracket is included.
The case also offers space for up to four 2.5-inch SSDs and three 3.5-inch HDDs, providing ample storage options for all your data. The 2.5-inch SSDs can be mounted on the back of the motherboard tray and in the PSU cover, while the 3.5-inch HDDs can be housed in a removable cage at the bottom of the case. The modular design makes installation easier and ensures a tidy interior.
Robust construction and well-equipped I/O panel
In addition to tempered glass panels, the PC case impresses with its construction made entirely of robust steel. The seamless glass panels provide not only an elegant look but also a clear view of the components inside.
The I/O panel features a power button, HD audio and microphone jack, as well as a USB 3.2 Type-C port and two USB 3.0 Type-A ports for faster data transfer. There are also two buttons to control the DRGB lighting—one for mode, one for color.
Intelligent cable management
The Phanteks NV5 MK2 offers a sophisticated cable management system for a neat and clean look. Particularly useful is the case’s PSU cover, which can be opened for easy cable handling. The case also supports back-connect motherboards.
Back-connect motherboards, such as the Project Zero models from MSI or the BTF motherboards from ASUS, feature connector ports for power, data, and other cables on the rear side, giving you not only cleaner cable management inside your case, but also better ventilation.
