The Streacom DA6: Modularity in Perfection
Streacom, the manufacturer of high-quality compact cases, once again demonstrates their perfect interpretation of modularity with the DA6 SFF case. At first glance, all you see is a black anodized stainless steel tube frame with rounded corners, and aluminum top and bottom panels—until you equip it with your hardware. Then it transforms into a simple yet elegant computer that accommodates everything you need for gaming hardware, no matter the size.
Your choice of motherboard is limited to the ITX format. However, using an optional riser cable, you can connect a full-size graphics card up to 323 mm in length and 87 mm in height. A movable PCIe bracket at the bottom is provided for this purpose. The riser cable is attached to one of the two centrally positioned bars, where the motherboard with its I/O panel is also mounted facing downward. Attached CPU coolers, with a height of up to 105 mm, reach the edge of the Streacom DA6. Since there are no outer walls in the way, they can even be larger, depending on your preference.
Practical brackets for flexible installation
Whether you prefer air cooling or water cooling, both can be easily implemented in the Streacom DA6. The case includes a total of eight struts that can be attached and moved along the frame's tubes. Given that the internal distance between the stainless steel tubes that make up the frame, including the struts, is 150 mm, you can, for example, mount four 140-mm fans on the sides or two at the rear. Alternatively, you can install a 280-mm radiator, which can also be integrated into your own custom loop thanks to the open interior design.
The struts are also used for mounting the power supply unit. Here too, you remain flexible. A power supply up to ATX size can be accommodated either vertically or horizontally, and can slide left or right along the struts. The same applies to drives, whether 3.5-inch or 2.5-inch form factor.
Modular I/O Panel
The I/O panel itself can optionally be mounted at the bottom or in two positions at the top. Pre-installed is a panel with power button and USB-C port on the underside. Other versions are available separately.
