The Eisbaer LT 92 has been launched specifically for small form factor cases. Space in SFF cases is extremely limited, so the Eisbaer LT 92 differs in several aspects from the regular Eisbaer LT.
Perfect for SFF Cases
The cooling block and pump unit measures only 40 mm in height, making it smaller than the I/O panel on the motherboard. This ensures the Eisbaer LT 92 fits nearly every compact case available on the market. The hose length is just 25 cm, making it ideal for small cases where dealing with long hoses can be challenging. This is one of the reasons why Alphacool opted not to use the usual quick disconnects on the Eisbaer LT 92. Because of the compact dimensions of SFF cases, quick disconnects can often be too cumbersome.
Uncompromising in Materials
As is the standard for Alphacool, the radiator is made of copper and comes from the renowned NexXxoS series. The end chambers, cooling fins, and water channels are all made entirely of copper. Copper’s heat capacity is almost twice that of aluminum—most noticeable when the radiator is pushed to its performance limits. When a comparable aluminum radiator fails, the copper one keeps going. The cold plate of the Eisbaer LT 92 is also made from nickel-plated copper. The TPV hoses and TPV fittings with G1/4" thread are from the Enterprise Solution series for servers and workstations.
Pump
The DC-LT 2 pump is also used in the standard Eisbaer, Eisbaer Aurora, and other Eisbaer LT CPU AIO water coolers. Its silent operation has been confirmed in several reviews of its sibling models. The pump spins at 2600 rpm and generates no significant vibrations. The DC-LT is a powerful pump suitable for larger loops and offers a high flow rate.
The Alphacool Eisbaer LT 92 is the perfect partner for SFF case builds and was specifically designed for them. The compact 92 mm full copper radiator delivers more than enough performance for powerful processors when paired with a suitable fan.
