Also part of the PHANTEKS accessory range is the Y-splitter offered here, a black sleeved cable adapter approximately 11 cm long including connectors, with two 4-pin fan connections at one end, while the other end is designed to be connected to a 4-pin fan header itself. In this way, the splitter cable can supply power to two fans via a single fan header.
The splitter cable makes it possible to operate two 4-pin fans with PWM functionality from a single PWM fan header and have the motherboard control the speed of both fans at the same time. Multiple Y-splitters can be combined to run more than two PWM fans from one header.
