With KryoSheet, Thermal Grizzly introduces a new product that belongs to the company's advertised "High Performance Cooling Solutions." The graphene thermal pads in the Thermal Grizzly KryoSheet series can be used excellently as an alternative to thermal pastes from the upper performance segment. Similar to the Carbonaut pads, they feature an adaptable surface with very high thermal conductivity.
Compared to Carbonaut pads, KryoSheet as a high-end product offers significantly higher thermal conductivity. This increased thermal conductivity is due not only to the choice of materials, but also to the innovative manufacturing process. KryoSheet contains no liquid components and is therefore not subject to normal aging, as is the case with traditional thermal paste. Drying out is not possible.
What makes KryoSheet so special?
The KryoSheet graphene pads feature a molecular structure stacked in the Z direction. This optimized structure enables outstanding and consistent thermal conductivity. This is made possible by a specially developed manufacturing process in which the hexagonal crystal structure of graphite is broken up along the basal plane in order to exploit the anisotropy of graphite's thermal conductivity. As a side effect of this complex manufacturing process, however, the electrical conductivity is also increased and the stability of the KryoSheet pads is affected, so the pads must only be used according to the instructions!
Thanks to the optimized thermal conductivity of KryoSheet compared to Carbonaut, these graphene pads are focused on enthusiast products in the end-customer segment as well as industrial applications. Examples of the use of KryoSheet include refurbishing used graphics cards and notebooks/laptops.
Who is KryoSheet worthwhile for?
The easy application and durability of the KryoSheet pads are key advantages here. The long service life of the pads means that they are maintenance-free. In addition to industrial applications, for example in server construction, this is also an advantage for home PC building or in the OEM sector. Because the pads do not need to be replaced at regular intervals like thermal paste, time-consuming maintenance is eliminated.

KryoSheet pads are electrically conductive and must not come into contact with electrical components!
Note: The 75 × 72 mm KryoSheet comes with a Kapton Insulation Sheet together with a small amount of silicone oil. This size is specifically intended for use on the CPU socket of the AMD EPYC 9000 series. The Kapton Insulation Sheet is used to protect the chip and is attached around the chip on the electronic components (SMDs).
