The AM5 Edition includes the NA-TPG1 (Thermal Paste Guard), which prevents thermal paste from accumulating in the side notches of AMD AM5 processor heatspreaders—a simple yet highly effective solution to keep your AM5 CPUs clean.
Noctua has specially optimized its NT-H1 thermal paste for use in PCs. Thanks to its excellent wetting and distribution properties, it delivers outstanding results. A hybrid configuration of different micro-particles provides minimal thermal resistance, easy handling, and excellent long-term stability.
The paste spreads evenly under mounting pressure, so there’s no need to spread it manually on the heatspreader. This not only reduces the amount of paste used but also simplifies installation: place a drop of NT-H1 in the center of the CPU, mount the cooler—done! It quickly reaches maximum performance and requires no long burn-in period.

Of course, it contains neither solvents nor other substances with low boiling points, and the thermal paste offers outstanding long-term stability. Thanks to its excellent curing, bleeding, dry-out, and thermal cycling characteristics, the NT-H1 AM5 Edition can be used for several years without issue.
Furthermore, it features an extremely low dielectric constant and high dielectric strength. Thus, even with direct contact with traces or components in the PC environment, there is absolutely no risk of short circuits.
