Lian Li UNI FAN TL LCD Series: PWM fans to complement your setup
The Lian Li UNI FAN TL LCD Series are fans that fit perfectly into your setup. The PWM fan uses the same interlocking system that frees gaming PCs from unnecessary cable clutter. Lian Li also impresses in terms of cooling performance and sets new standards with breathtaking RGB lighting.
Personalize your fans via LCD
A 1.6-inch display with a resolution of 400 x 400 pixels is mounted on the hub of the Lian Li UNI FAN TL LCD Series and can be configured almost freely. It can display, for example, fan speed, temperature, or CPU and GPU load. Or you can upload your own images, GIFs, or short videos via L-Connect 3 software to give the fans your own personal touch. Lian Li points out that the more sensors are used, the more the CPU is taxed, and therefore no more than three sensors should be used.
Interlocking system for seamless fan clusters
The installation of the Lian Li UNI FAN TL LCD Series follows the clever concept of Lian Li's other fans: the fans are equipped with contact points and connected to each other via a practical interlocking system. Multiple fans can be combined into a cluster and conveniently connected to the controller with just one cable. Thanks to this improved daisy-chain system, you save time and hassle and prevent unnecessary cable clutter. The pin contacts transmit both power and PWM and ARGB signals.
Revised interlocking system of the Lian Li UNI FAN TL LCD Series
The interlocking system introduced with the UNI FAN SL and AL Series has been improved once again for the Lian Li UNI FAN TL LCD Series. For one thing, the interlocking system was designed so that the connector can be removed. This prevents possible collisions with connections on the radiator and at the same time ensures a tidy look.
In addition, the connector for the cable module has been removed, and the cable can now be connected directly to the fan instead. The connector is recessed flat into the frame, giving you more space for the use of radiators.
The power and ARGB signal cables, which are usually separate, have been combined into one 7-pin cable. You can connect these cables directly to the controller. Up to four fans in one cluster can be powered with one cable. With the corresponding extension cable, you can connect up to 6 fans with LCD to the two ports of the controller and control them via L-Connect 3 software.
Note: The connectors of the Lian Li UNI FAN TL LCD Series are not compatible with the SL and AL Series!
Lian Li UNI FAN TL LCD Series: Impressive performance values
At full load, the fans operate relatively quietly at a maximum of 27 dB(A). The small gap between the fan blades and the frame, and the resulting reduced friction resistance, allows higher speeds with the same power consumption and thus significantly increased airflow and excellent performance. Cool temperatures are also promoted by the increased thickness of 28 millimeters.
The start/stop mode for your Lian Li UNI FAN TL Series can also be activated via L-Connect 3 software. If your components are below a temperature you define (maximum 50 degrees), the fans remain off. In addition, L-Connect 3 offers the option to create an optimized fan curve for speed and temperature.
Optimized concept for lighting and look
Lian Li has significantly improved the fans. For example, the side LED strips of connected fans have a significantly reduced gap between individual fans of 0.7 millimeters, compared to 3 and 5.6 millimeters in the previous generation. This creates seamless transitions between the illuminated areas and enhances effects across fan clusters. Lian Li has revised the design of the rubber pads and added additional cutouts. As a result, the unusual RGB lighting, which also illuminates the infinity mirror on two sides, stands out even better.
