With a maximum noise output of only 24.8 dB(A) at 1,500 RPM, the Noctua fan easily fits into the ultra-quiet category. Noctua even includes a Low-Noise Adapter (LNA) to reduce the fan noise to just 19.7 dB(A).
The LNA adapter limits the fan speed to 1,250 RPM—without significantly compromising cooling performance. This keeps the fan quieter than a whisper, while still delivering a high airflow of 127.1 m³/h with a static pressure of 1.3 mm H₂O.

In addition to powerful cooling with a maximum speed of 1,500 RPM, the fan also features a special self-stabilizing oil-pressure bearing, along with liquid crystal polymer fan blades. This minimizes vibrations and unwanted harmonic resonances to prevent noise.
