EK Water Blocks EK-Quantum Vector Radeon VII Backplate - Nickel is a CNC-machined retention backplate made from anodised aluminium and designed for the matching EK-Quantum Vector water blocks. It covers the entire length of the graphics card PCB, provides an aesthetic upgrade, and additionally offers passive cooling for the backside of the voltage regulation module (VRM) and the GPU core.
The part is CNC-machined from nickel-plated aluminium, which is more rigid and more scratch-resistant than painted plastic.
