EK Water Blocks EK-Quantum Vector2 RE RTX 3080/90 Backplate - Nickel is a CNC-machined retention backplate made from anodised aluminium and designed for the matching EK-Quantum Vector² water blocks. It covers the entire length of the graphics card PCB, acts as an aesthetic upgrade, and additionally provides passive cooling for the back of the voltage regulation module (VRM) and the GPU core.
The part is CNC-machined from nickel-plated aluminium, which is more rigid and more scratch-resistant than painted plastic.
