EK Water Blocks EK-Quantum Vector Trinity RTX 3080/3090 Backplate - Nickel is a CNC-machined retention backplate made from anodised aluminium and designed for the matching EK-Quantum Vector water blocks. It covers the whole length of the graphics card PCB, acts as an aesthetic upgrade and additionally provides passive cooling for the backside of the voltage regulation module (VRM) and the GPU core.
The part is CNC-machined from nickel-plated aluminium, which is more rigid and more scratch-resistant than painted plastic.

- Nickel-plated surface: The nickel plating protects the base material and provides an even, long-lasting appearance.

- Passive additional cooling: Thermal pads transfer heat from the back of the PCB to the surrounding air.
- Full PCB coverage: Covering the entire length of the PCB protects the card mechanically and prevents sagging.
