EK Water Blocks EK-Quantum Vector2 FTW3 RTX 3080/90 D-RGB - Nickel + Acetal is a full-cover water block that spans the entire length of the graphics card. Coolant is channelled directly over the GPU core, memory and voltage regulation module (VRM), so all critical components are cooled within a single loop.
The cold plate is CNC-machined from nickel-plated electrolytic copper, while the top is made of black acetal. The dimensions are 328,5 x 155 x 27 mm. Lighting is provided by 19 addressable D-RGB LEDs, connected via a 50 cm cable. A matching backplate for the rear of the graphics card is already included.
Key Features
- EK-Matrix7 standard: Port positions and dimensions follow the EK-Matrix7 grid, so tubing can be routed straight and in alignment.
- Open Split-Flow cooling engine: The flow is split across the fin structure. This keeps flow restriction low, so weaker or slow-running pumps are sufficient as well.
- 10 mm thick copper cold plate: The solid copper base absorbs load peaks and spreads the heat evenly across the cooling surface.
- Addressable D-RGB lighting: Connects to a 3-pin 5V D-RGB header and works with the common motherboard sync technologies.
- Rotatable magnetic covers: They hide the terminal screws and can be rotated so the branding stays upright even with an inverted or vertically mounted card.
- Direct cooling of all key components: GPU, VRAM and VRM are all covered by the coolant flow.
- Nickel + Acetal version: Matches fittings and components with the same finish.

Important notes
- Do not run together with aluminium components in the same loop – mixing different metals causes corrosion.
- Use coolants containing corrosion, scale and biological inhibitors to avoid damaging the nickel-plated surfaces.
- The block is not compatible with NVLink and NVIDIA SLI.
- The factory backplate of the graphics card cannot be reused.
- Given the variety on the market, EK guarantees fit only for fittings from its own range.
