The Endgame Gear XM2we Wireless Gaming Mouse in detail
The XM2we Wireless is the new edition of the popular XM2 series gaming mouse from Endgame Gear. It also impresses with innovative hardware, durable components, and great comfort. The XM2we provides features and optimization options recommended by eSports veterans. It is designed for maximum performance, enabling highly precise and fast reactions.
With hand-selected Kailh GO optical switches for the main buttons and Kailh 2.0 switches for the side buttons, the XM2we offers an improved click feeling. The integrated PixArt PAW3370 sensor offers up to 19,000 CPI resolution and can be set directly on the mouse in increments of 50 CPI up to 10,000, and in steps of 100 CPI above that. For the wireless 2.4 GHz connection, an ARM Cortex CX52650 is used in the dongle. During charging with the detachable Endgame Gear Flex Cord 3.0 USB-C to USB 2.0 Type-A cable, you can continue to use the XM2we Wireless.
Advanced sensor for improved responsiveness
The highlight of the XM2we Wireless is undoubtedly the responsiveness of the gaming mouse. The Endgame Gear XM2we Wireless uses the PAW3370 sensor from PixArt. The sensor is tuned for maximum performance and offers minimal input lag without smoothing or power-saving states. Without smoothing, averaging, or interpolation, the tracking data from the sensor is as raw and accurate as possible. This ensures maximum precision and speed.
The sensor has a resolution of 50 to 19,000 CPI. It can be adjusted in 50 or 100 CPI increments directly on the underside of the mouse, so you can quickly find the right setting at any time.
Additional specifications include a tracking speed of 400 IPS, selectable polling rates of 125, 500, and 1,000 Hz, and a lift-off distance of 2 mm (adjustable to 1 mm via software). With these top values, the XM2we delivers a decisive edge in competitive eSports titles.
Innovative switches and technology
The Endgame Gear team has not only updated the optical sensor but also improved the switches on the XM2we. The left and right main buttons of the gaming mouse feature Kailh GO optical switches, eliminating double-click issues thanks to the use of optical mechanisms. The side microswitches have also been updated to Kailh GM 2.0 switches, offering a crisp and consistent click feel as well as increased durability.
The Endgame Gear XM2we Wireless also uses Kailh 2.0 switches with a TTC Silver encoder for the middle mouse wheel button, giving the scroll wheel a distinctive yet precise feel with each scroll step.
The Endgame Gear XM2we Wireless employs a Cortex ARM microcontroller. There are two: a CX52850 in the mouse to handle the main tasks, and a second, a CX52650 in the dongle dedicated solely to the wireless 2.4 GHz connection. This ensures fast, stable, and especially energy-efficient data transmission. Equipped with a 410mAh battery, the XM2we lasts for a week of gaming without charging. While charging, you can continue to use the mouse via the detachable Endgame Gear Flex Cord 3.0 cable.
Proven design in classic colors
The Endgame Gear XM2we Wireless is available in classic black and white. Endgame Gear has retained the proven XM1 shape, making the XM2we perfect for claw, fingertip, and palm grips. The mouse cable has been improved, now offering much better durability while maintaining flexibility. The new, detachable Flex Cord 3.0 cable makes operating the XM2we Wireless just as smooth as using it wirelessly.
