Axagon EEM2-SC external enclosure USB 3.2 Gen2 NVMe
External aluminum AXAGON EEM2-SC RIBBED enclosure with a USB 10Gbps interface, designed for M.2 NVMe SSDs. A stable and fast connection is ensured by the reversible USB-C connector. The package includes a USB-C -> USB-C cable for connecting the enclosure to your computer.
Thanks to the USB 10Gbps interface, the transfer rate is up to 10 Gb/s. The external M.2 enclosure supports modern features such as UASP and TRIM, and allows reading S.M.A.R.T. disk status monitoring information.
An advantage of the enclosure is support for four different SSD card lengths - 30, 42, 60 and 80 mm. M.2 drives can be single-sided or double-sided. The enclosure does not limit the capacity of the installed SSD.
Screwless opening makes installation and removal of the M.2 SSD easier. This makes disk replacement quick and easy, significantly speeding up data migration, testing, cloning, and storage expansion.
The ribbed design and aluminum casing of the enclosure ensure excellent cooling of the installed M.2 SSD. This extends its service life and also prevents the disk from slowing down, so-called Thermal Throttling. The outer metal casing is black and prevents unwanted fingerprints.
By inserting an M.2 SSD into the enclosure, you can easily create a fast, compact, and universal external drive. The enclosure can be used with computers and notebooks, as well as with mobile phones and tablets.
