The PXN VD6 DBT is a comprehensive set designed for gamers who want to experience the sensation of being behind the wheel of a real racing car. The package includes the PXN VD6 Direct Drive steering wheel base, the WDS R2 steering wheel, a set of PD HM pedals, and the Z9 mounting clamp. The entire set operates on PCs running Windows 7, 8, 10, and 11, and connects via a USB cable. The set delivers a powerful driving experience, precise movement reproduction, and extensive customization options tailored to each player.
PXN VD6 base
The main component of the kit is the PXN VD6 base, which features Direct Drive technology. This ensures instant response and transmits realistic force and detail to the steering wheel. With a constant torque of 6 Nm, every change in direction or hitting a curb is faithfully felt. A built-in 24-bit magnetic encoder ensures precise operation, while a temperature control system prevents the unit from overheating during long gameplay sessions. The low-inertia servo drive further enhances response speed and smoothness.
WDS R2 steering wheel
The base comes with a 280mm diameter WDS R2 steering wheel. It is covered with microfiber to enhance grip and comfort during long rides. The wheel is equipped with 11 programmable buttons, 2 dials, and 11 LEDs, which can be configured for functions such as tachometer or gear shift indicator. The aluminum shift paddles are sturdy and comfortable to use, and the quick-release system allows you to remove and replace the steering wheel easily and without tools.
Hall technology
The kit also includes 2 pedals (gas and brake) that utilize contactless Hall sensors, providing high precision and smooth operation. Additional advantages include low power consumption and highly sensitive pressure response—both for gentle acceleration and hard braking. The height, tilt angle, and spacing of each pedal can be adjusted, making it easy to tailor the setup to your preferences. The tilt angle can be adjusted up to 60°, and a special mounting system allows flexible rearrangement of the panel. Thanks to non-slip pads, the pedals grip well on both hard floors and carpets.
PXN Sense+ algorithm
The set uses the special PXN Sense+ algorithm, which analyzes data from the game and transmits it directly to the steering wheel. This results in even more accurate driving feedback. The system reacts to road conditions, vehicle type, and behavior in real time, delivering a more realistic and intuitive driving experience.
PXN SimRacing application
The entire kit works with the PXN SimRacing app, which allows for quick and convenient configuration. You can calibrate the pedals (gas and brake), set the button functions on the steering wheel, adjust force feedback, or change profiles for different games. With ready-made settings, installing and configuring the hardware takes only a moment.
