The Pimax Crystal Super 50PPD is a state-of-the-art VR headset with an ultra-high resolution of 3840 x 3840 pixels per eye and aspheric glass lenses for a particularly clear image and a large sweet spot. The field of view reaches 50 PPD at 127° and up to 138° in the extended Labs mode. A variable refresh rate of 72 Hz or 90 Hz ensures smooth displays, even during fast movements. Automatic IPD adjustment in the range of 58 to 72 mm enables optimal comfort and precise image alignment. Local dimming delivers realistic colors and deep contrast. Dynamic 2.0 foveated rendering optimizes performance by focusing computing power on the gaze focus. The package includes two controllers. The headset uses inside-out tracking for easy setup without external sensors, but it can be expanded with Lighthouse tracking if needed. For audio, there is a replaceable 3.5 mm jack connector, complemented by two built-in microphones.
