The Crystal Super Ultrawide from Pimax is a state-of-the-art VR headset with an ultra-high resolution of 3840 x 3840 pixels per eye and aspherical glass lenses for an especially clear image and a large sweet spot. The field of view reaches 50 PPD at 140°. A variable refresh rate of 72 Hz or 90 Hz ensures smooth visuals, even during fast movements. Automatic IPD adjustment in the range from 58 to 72 mm enables optimal comfort and precise image alignment. Local dimming provides realistic colors and deep contrast. Dynamic 2.0 Foveated Rendering optimizes performance by concentrating computing power on the focal point of the gaze. Two controllers are included in the package. The headset uses inside-out tracking for easy setup without external sensors, but can be expanded with Lighthouse tracking if needed. For audio, an interchangeable 3.5 mm jack connection is available, complemented by two integrated microphones.
