The DS-2CD2087G2H-LI(2.8MM)(EF)(O-STD) camera uses a 1/1.8" progressive scan CMOS sensor to capture images, which guarantees detailed and clear video recordings in 4K resolution.
Fixed focal length lens with Smart Dual-Light illuminator
The camera has a lens with a fixed focal length of 2.8 mm, which provides a wide viewing angle and does not require additional calibration. It is supported by the built-in Smart Dual-Light illuminator:
IR LED with a range of up to 40 meters,
LED white light with a range of up to 40 meters, which ensures 24/7 monitoring. A mechanical IR filter ensures that the lighting is appropriately adjusted to the prevailing conditions.
Advanced video correction
In order to ensure detailed and as realistic recordings as possible, the captured images are processed using modern functions such as:
WDR - obtaining a wide dynamic range in the camera,
back light compensation (BLC) - darkening the strongly exposed background and brightening foreground objects that are too dark and unreadable, digital noise reduction (3D DNR), effectively reducing noise and blur in the image caused by insufficient or no lighting.
Video content analytics
The Hikvision IP camera is equipped with analytical functions based on deep learning technology, including the classification of people and vehicles, which significantly improves the effectiveness of object detection. Other analytical functions include:
- detection of crossing a virtual line - the camera has the ability to set a virtual line within its field of view. This function allows us to immediately provide information about an object that has crossed the area where the virtual line has been set.
- intruder detection with classification of people and vehicles - the basis for detecting people and vehicles by cameras is the process of image analysis and processing. The camera captures images or video frames and then analyzes them to identify specific objects based on their unique characteristics.
- entry/exit from a specific area - the camera has the function of detecting an object's entry and exit from a selected area. Information about this is immediately sent to the user.
- face capture - the camera has the ability to automatically record faces from a digital image or a video frame from a video source. Using advanced algorithms, it is able to recognize many faces and quickly locate them.
Region of Interest
Thanks to the ROI (Region of Interest) function implemented in the camera, we can determine a selected fragment of the scene, which should have higher resolution and surveillance accuracy compared to other fragments.
PoE power supply
DS-2CD2087G2H-LI(2.8MM)(EF)(O-STD) has the option of signal transmission and power supply via a PoE cable.
