Hikvision AcuSense DS-7608NXI-I2/S(C) IP DVR is a device used for professional surveillance systems. It has the ability to record video from 8 IP cameras (Hikvision or other) with a resolution of up to 12 MP (32 MP and 24 MP option is available only for channel 1, when Ultra HD resolution mode is enabled). It has HDMI (3840×2160, 4K) and VGA (1920×1080 p) outputs. The DVR gives you the ability to record and display video in high 4K resolution. You get clear and detailed recording with faithfully reproduced colours.

DS-7608NXI-I2/S(C) DVR can connect 2 SATA hard drives with capacity up to 10 TB. With modern compression standards H.265+, which the device supports, it gives great recording and archiving possibilities. The recorder itself monitors the status of the hard drive, so the user has constant control over the data.

Additionally, the recorder has a built-in audio output, which enables two-way audio transmission and alarm (4 inputs and 1 output). The alarm inputs can be connected to motion detectors, reed switches or photocells, and the alarm outputs to an external siren or control panel.

The recorder belongs to the Hikvision AcuSense series. It supports advanced detection systems, VCA (Video Content Analytics) or intelligent search functions for a given area. 4-channel false alarm reduction based on intelligent analysis (deep learning) allows for object classification (human/vehicle) and face detection.

Additionally, the DS-7608NXI-I2/S(C) is also used for point-of-sale (POS) monitoring. It supports cameras with advanced image analysis functions.

The device uses ANR (Automatic Network Replenishment) technology to ensure that all data is secure, even in the event of a network failure. It prevents interruptions in video recording and guarantees uninterrupted operation of the device.

Hikvision DVR has 2 built-in Gigabit Ethernet network interfaces, thanks to which the remote connection with the device is stable and versatile. The user can, for example, view live images, play back recorded events, control PTZ cameras or configure the entire system.

The AcuSense series from Hikvision allows you to filter out false alarms as much as possible thanks to the use of Deep Learning analysis in cameras and recorders. This technology allows you to distinguish between a person or a car and movement that should not trigger an alarm: small animals, vegetation movements and the like. Devices with AcuSense functionality also have fast event search functions. By saving a video frame from the recording of each detected object, the device can categorise it and easily search for it when viewing events!

Save disk space with data compression

Hikvision DVRs support an intelligent data compression algorithm, which significantly reduces the use of network bandwidth and makes operation very efficient. The device records in H.265+, H.265, H.264+, H.264 and MPEG4 standards. The high recording standards allow to significantly reduce and optimise data transfer and save disk space, without loss of image quality.

Functional menu and free software

It is designed for users who want to effectively use and manage their security devices using a smartphone or tablet. Hik-Connect is a cloud-based service that allows access to Hikvision devices from virtually anywhere in the world.

Push notifications give you real-time information about the status of your devices. Live monitoring lets you know what is happening at your facility. The application is extremely intuitive, the registration of the device is easy via a web browser or via QR codes.

An additional advantage is that the Hikvision P2P service does not require the user to have additional port forwarding or a permanent external IP number. The cloud monitors the status of the devices through a unique ID number, always knowing if the device is online and informing the user of any problems.
