Dahua IPC-HFW2841S-S-0280B IP camera

The Dahua IPC-HFW2841S-S-0280B IP camera is equipped with an 8MP 1/2.7 CMOS image sensor that provides high resolution in low light conditions. It has a modern lens with a motorized 2.8 mm zoom and uses IR diodes (IR range up to 30 m). The camera uses Smart H.265+ & Smart H.264+ encoding technology, which provides higher encoding efficiency than H.265 and H.264, guarantees high-quality video and reduces storage and transmission costs.

The IPC-HFW2841S-S-0280B uses Starlight technology, which was created for use in difficult environmental conditions, even with minimal lighting. In extreme low light conditions, Starlight technology is able to provide color images in almost total darkness.

The Dahua IPC-HFW2841S-S-0280B IP camera is equipped with a number of key technological protections such as security authentication and authorization, access control, trusted protection, encrypted transmission and encrypted storage, which improves its security and data protection, and prevents the invasion of malicious programs on device. SMART IR

The signal processor continuously analyzes the image and immediately after detecting overexposure, it reduces the power of the infrared illuminator. Thus, the image becomes clearer and x-rays disappear.

BLC:

The BLC function allows you to eliminate the effect that occurs when the camera is directed towards a strong light source, i.e. when the foreground becomes dark and unreadable. Compensation involves brightening the foreground, unfortunately at the expense of the background, which also becomes brighter. Generally, the function improves image quality.

3D DNR:

3D DNR analyzes individual frames and analyzes differences between subsequent video frames to adjust pixels and increase image fidelity. 3D-DNR technology can reduce noise to a greater extent, but its disadvantage is the tendency to blur moving objects. Its main application is in relation to static areas of the observed space.

HLC:

The HLC function detects image points that are strongly illuminated and then masks them for effective observation. The HLC mode is extremely useful when observing underground parking lots. It allows you to read license plate numbers that are covered by "bright spots" from the headlights.

WDR:

Wide Dynamic Range extended dynamic range. It allows you to expand the capabilities of the BLC rear light compensation system. Cameras with the WDR function work well both outdoors and in indoor systems. They eliminate the problem of the camera being blinded by a strong light source, e.g. in sunny places or when the camera is to monitor a room and is placed opposite a window. WDR equalizes lighting, so it allows both brightening dark elements and darkening too bright areas of the image.

Intelligent Video System(IVS):

Intelligent image analysis Intelligent Video Surveillance involves processing the recorded image. The purpose of the IVS function is to detect events with previously defined criteria. Appropriate configuration of the functions at the recorder level allows for constant analysis of the recorded image and enables very quick detection of unwanted events. The functions include: detection of crossing a virtual line, detection of intrusion in a zone, detection of disappearance/appearance of objects, face detection, detection of changes in camera position and painting over the lens, and sound detection.
