QNAP's QGD-1600P is the world's first PoE-managed switch that supports virtual machines (VMs). The device is equipped with a 4-port 60W switch and a 12-port 30W Gigabit PoE switch (with two PoE/SFP combo ports), enabling flexible deployment of the network environment. With a dual-processor design, the QGD-1600P offers both Layer 2 management features for the virtual machine and QTS applications. The QGD-1600P is also based on Software-Defined Networking (SDN) architecture, which enables it to function as a NAS, NVR, router, firewall and AP controller for IP surveillance, network security, storage expansion and wireless LAN management. The Guardian Series therefore offers small and medium-sized enterprises a cost-optimized and centrally managed LAN deployment solution.

PoE++/PoE+

The QGD-1600P is compliant with the latest IEEE 802.3bt PoE++ and IEEE 802.3at PoE+ standards, providing a 4-port 60W switch and a 12-port 30W Gigabit PoE switch. The QGD-1600P can provide a total power of 360 W, meeting the requirements of high power devices (PD).

Layer 2 network

The QGD-1600P provides comprehensive Layer 2 management features such as VLAN, LACP, QoS IGMP Snooping and Wake-on-LAN, enabling IT administrators to efficiently control network bandwidth and improve security through a user-friendly web-based switch management interface.

Intuitive management interface

QuNetSwitch provides a user-friendly web interface that allows IT administrators to efficiently control Layer 2 and PoE networks. Additionally, through an overview dashboard and graphical statistical analysis, administrators have instant visibility into all information about the switch and powered devices, making central management of high-power devices intuitive and easy.
